From now on UBC SailBots is going into the design-phase of the project, after some very good functional specifications were presented at the team meeting on October 25th. We now have a clear sense of where all sub-teams of UBC SailBots are going this year. The subteams are User Interface, Mechanical, Electronics, and Control Theory.
Each sub-team will have a very specific task at hand, and will be working on this task for two weeks before moving on to next task. The idea behind this is to make the sub-teams more focused and have a specific task they have to complete and present at the end of each two-week period.
